The 'Spring into your Break' event for Spring 2022, a fun-filled and energetic affair, was promoted through a range of marketing materials, including flyers, banners, and social media content. The design of the event's theme typography was created in 3D using Adobe Photoshop, with a bouncing vibe that perfectly captured the energetic spirit of the season. The colors used in the design were carefully selected to represent the college while also reflecting the mood of the event, with vibrant hues that were engaging and lively. The marketing campaign was designed to create a buzz around the event and encourage attendance from students, staff, and faculty alike.

A. Nicole Productions

Logo and animated logo created for the branding of A. Nicole Productions. I also created an animated video and GIF to be shared on social media platforms. A. Nicole Productions specializes in sound engineering and offers a wide range of audio recording and post-production services. The logo has been designed using shades of blue and orange to create a youthful and vibrant look. The image in the logo was inspired by the faders on an audio console. The animated logo adds to the company's visual identity by giving it a dynamic and engaging look with a sense of movement and energy. Overall, these designs will help A. Nicole Productions establish a strong and professional brand identity, which is essential in the highly competitive field of sound engineering.

BMCC FWSCAP Building a Strong Foundation

Motivational cards created using the theme "Building a Strong Foundation" to be given as gifts to the participants of BMCC's Federal Work-Study Career Access program. The files for the cards were printed by the Reprographics Department of BMCC, and then laminated and cut by the same department, which ensured their durability. The boxes that were used to hold the cards, were cut using a guillotine and assembled by myself. To make the boxes look professional, I used a circle die to cut the program's logo for the front of the box, which enhanced the overall look of the product.

Refuge Temple Jamaica

Logo and promotional materials created for the COOLJC, RefugeTemple Church, located in Jamaica W.I. The logo and flyers were designed with the aim of representing the church's values and beliefs, while also appealing to their intended audience. The design process involved careful consideration of the church's mission, vision, and goals, as well as the preferences of their target demographic.

An artist's logo designed bearing in mind the artist's intention of bringing their client's vision to life. The logo encapsulates the artist's style and creative flair, making it a perfect representation of what their clients should expect. The artist's slogan 'where vision meets creation' highlights the synergy between their client's vision and their creative abilities. The letter 'I' in the wordmark is removed and replaced with a pen dropping ink on the surface, symbolizing the artist's craft and dedication to their work.

Quintessential T-Shirt and Logo Design

The client requested a logo, image, and text design for her line of Quintessential T-shirts. The main focus of the design represents queens from all walks of life, irrespective of their skin color or ethnicity. To achieve this objective, I incorporated a diverse range of queens in the design, representing different cultures, traditions, and backgrounds.
The image is the centerpiece of the design and showcase queens in all different shades and colors. The vibrant purple and radiant gold helped the image to come to life.
As for the logo, I created a unique and recognizable mark that accurately represents the brand and its values. The text, on the other hand, is minimalistic and straightforward, showcasing the brand's name and tagline in a clear and concise manner.

SASS Professional Development Day

Flyers, table top signs, program tent cards, name tags, certificates, Google Form banner, and video were created for the 2023 BMCC Student Affairs Support Staff Professional Development Day (SASS). The event's theme was "The Future is Now." The visual concepts for the event were also based on this theme, ensuring that the atmosphere conveyed a strong sense of the future being within reach. Additionally, a video was created for the large TV screen to be used as a background display during the event.

Through my Eyes - Book Cover Design

Vanessa Wilson's book of poetry, "Through My Eyes," was the inspiration behind a unique cover design that aimed to intrigue and captivate its viewers. The client's specific vision for the book cover was to create an enigmatic and mysterious atmosphere, which would arouse curiosity and invite readers to dive into its pages. The design was meticulously crafted to evoke an aura of mystique and leave a lasting impression on anyone who came across it.

Style View Barber Salon Poster

Promotional display poster created for the Style View Barber Salon. The sign is intended for outdoor use and features a display of the Barbershop customers that is eye-catching and attractive. It is meant to draw attention to the salon and promote its services to passersby. Overall, the design is well-suited to the needs of the salon and should be effective in generating interest and attracting new customers.

These designs were used to spread the word about the upcoming Good Deeds day event on campus. The purpose of this event is to encourage and inspire the college community to take part in activities that benefit the greater good. The promotional materials aim to raise awareness and generate interest in this meaningful event.


GPI Safety is Hero Logo

The logo created for Graphic Packaging International (GPI) in Wayne, New Jersey was a result of a contest. The aim of the contest was to create a logo that would effectively convey the importance of safety to all employees and remind them to prioritize safety in all aspects of their work. The logo was designed in collaboration with Diane Dixon and myself. While Diane came up with the slogan, I designed the logo. Our entry won the first place in the contest.

The Students' Program Participation book was designed for the BMCC Panther Partners First Generation program within Student Affairs. The book entailed the different activities for the semester, the program's milestones that each student should aim to achieve, a section for the Panther coaches to record their meetings with their mentees, and a section for the students to record any notes.

For the 2018 BMCC Student Affairs Support Staff Professional Development Day, a variety of promotional materials were designed to ensure a successful event. First, an eye-catching email banner was created to be sent out with the invitation to all attendees. This banner was designed to grab the attention of the reader and provide them with important details about the event, such as the date, time, and location. Additionally, a TV display image was created to be shown on screens throughout the campus leading up to the event.
A welcome poster was also created and placed at the entrance to the venue on the day of the event. This poster was designed to give attendees a warm welcome and help make individual comfortable. Finally, an agenda was created to ensure that the day ran smoothly and that all attendees knew what to expect. The agenda provided a detailed outline of the day's activities, including the various sessions that would be taking place. Overall, these promotional materials played a key role in the success of the 2018 BMCC Student Affairs Support Staff Professional Development Day.

The letter "A" is replaced by a ladder, which represents the program's goal of helping students climb to higher levels and prepare them for the professional working world. The logo is being used on various promotional materials to raise awareness about the program. The design of the logo is intended to be memorable, eye-catching, and representative of the program's values and mission.

Restaurant Identity

PeppaPot is a restaurant that specializes in Jamaican cuisine and has a unique brand identity. The restaurant's logo features a vibrant yellow hot scotch bonnet pepper with a green stem, set against a black background. This logo represents the island of Jamaica and is memorable because Jamaican cuisine is known for its use of the hot Scotch Bonnet pepper.
The large menu card was also created using the same colors of deep green and black, and the fonts Cooper Black Regular and Karla were used to create a powerful visual identity for the word mark PeppaPot. To show how the branding would be effective in different scales and scenarios, a number of mockups were created. This design was a project from the City College of New York.

NYC Tourism Infographics Poster

During my academic tenure at the City College of New York, I undertook a project to create an infographic poster. The poster was based on an authentic article, and I used Adobe InDesign and Illustrator software to design it. My aim was to make the information on the poster visually appealing and easy to comprehend. To achieve this, I used vibrant colors, various graphs, and shapes that were well-placed to draw the reader's attention.

'Muriel's Wedding'

This is an illustrated poster of the 1994 Australian comedy-drama film "Muriel's Wedding", written and directed by P.J. Hogan. It was created as part of an illustration project at City College of New York. The movie follows the story of Muriel Heslop, a socially awkward woman who has never been on a date due to her oppressive politician father. She is ostracized by her more socially adept friends but finds a friend in Rhonda Epinstalk. Together, they leave their small Australian town and move to the big city of Sydney. Muriel changes her name and begins the challenging task of redesigning her life to match her fantasies. The illustration on the poster depicts the moment when Muriel awkwardly grabs her husband and takes him down the aisle.

During my time as a student at the City College of New York, I had the opportunity to participate in a project and tasked with designing a front page for a newspaper and creating a featured article. To accomplish this, I utilized Adobe Indesign, a powerful software that allows for the creation of aesthetically pleasing layouts and the formatting of images and text. In order to ensure that the newspaper was as authentic as possible, the news story selections had to be genuine. The articles chosen for both the front page and the featured story had to be carefully curated to provide the most interesting and informative content possible. This project not only allowed me to develop my design skill, but also taught me the importance of selecting relevant and engaging news stories.
